CENTREDNESS

In this busy world of ours it is all too easy to lose focus as we go about our daily life. Sometimes, taking a breath and assessing the different directions we can take can lead to an informed decision, not necessarily the right one but at least it will have a better chance of success, if all the pros and cons are weighed up.
Take time out at the end of each week, to assess what you have accomplished, to reflect on outcomes, and to zoom in on reasons why certain actions were not successful. Open that diary, put down your thoughts and....
Then...let it go and relax.

Before you start the week again, refocus, find that point of concentration and centre your thoughts on what you need to achieve. Doing so will help you keep the balance required to be effective in everything you do. Have a strategy for the week with space for adjustment. Multi-tasking is all very well, but it can lead to ineffectiveness, so compartmentalize your responsibilities/activites and try and centre yourself on each one as you do it. Doing so will save time and increase effectiveness. Laser point your energy into the task at hand, just like paying attention when someone is speaking to you. Give it your full attention.

Don't just pay attention to the mental aspect of your life, but find a balance and focus in all areas of your life including nutrition, exercise, spiritual, mental activity and relaxation.
Find your meditation protocol, whatever it is and renew your energy through that. We are all different and find our centredness in different ways. Do that self-assessment and do what works for you.
Try it and then assess the results in concrete terms.

As the week draws to a close
Take the time to sit in repose
Break the surface of your thought
or else you will see nought

Once deeper inside
The centre will glide
Into the path of your sight
To help you see the light
(Alison)

I wish you well in your next week of life and urge you to try to find that Centredness which helps you to focus and grow each day.

Until next time!
